Adoption, a practice that was pretty much prevelant among parents in earlier times but after science, technology and pop culture mainstreamed some concepts like IVF, parents now opt for that. But do you people know that there are more than 3 crore orphan kids in this country, its actually way more than the population of some countries like Australia and Sri Lanka. And its really heartbreaking to know that out of these 3 crore orphans only 4000 adoptions take place anually in the country. But what is the reason behind this and what can be done to improve this ?
