As per the images shared by Vaishnaw, the upcoming trains will provide passengers with two- and three-tier accommodation choices. The design showcases a modern and unique look compared to the existing trains. Earlier, a rail official at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai has said that the Vande Bharat sleeper train is slated for launch in the financial year 2023-24. B G Mallya, General Manager of ICF, had said that Vande Bharat Sleeper will consist of 16 coaches with 11 AC three-tier coaches, 4 AC two-tier coaches, and 1 first AC coach. Manufactured in the ICF, Chennai, the Vande Bharat train exemplifies India's 'Make-In-India' initiative. The train achieved a top speed of 180 km/h on the Kota-Sawai Madhopur route.
