Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Y S Sharmila was apprehended by Vijayawada Police while attempting to lead a protest march to the Secretariat on Thursday.

The APCC President addressed the press at the party headquarters in Vijayawada, where police reportedly prevented Congress leaders and activists from holding 'Chalo Secretariat' protest march.
