Video Of Newborn Baby Elephant Walking With Herd Goes Viral: Watch
In the adorable video, a herd of bigger elephants can be seen walking on the road in a forest area while surrounding a baby white elephant.
New Delhi: Elephants live in tight bonded female-led herds, so when a calf is born the whole matriarchal herd raises and protects the newborn. An example of this was shared in a video by Twitter user Gabriele Corno. In the adorable video, a herd of bigger elephants can be seen walking on the road in a forest area while surrounding a baby white elephant. As the elephants slowly turn to their right into the jungle, they let the calf and two adult elephants lead first, making sure the baby elephant is well-protected. The video depicts how protective elephants can be when it comes to ensuring the well-being of their young ones.
Sharing the video, Gabriele Corno wrote, "No body on earth can provide better security than an elephant herd to the cute new Pink Born Baby in India"

White elephants are very rare so they are considered extremely auspicious in Southeast Asian culture, especially in Buddhist cultures, and the region's ancient rulers acquired as many as they could to boost their fortunes.
