WATCH: Nepalese Bride And Groom Indulge In Fight As Part Of Wedding Tradition

A playful competition turns intense between Nepalese bride and groom during a wedding ritual where they had to feed each other.

New Delhi: Every place has its own unique wedding rituals. A video of one such ritual in Nepal has gone viral that shows how a bride and groom got involved in an intense but playful fight during their wedding ceremony

In the short video clip, the bride and groom can be seen dressed in traditional wedding attire sitting at the mandap. The bride takes a morsel of food when she turns to the groom, who stops and tries to feed her first. She refuses to give him a chance but the groom forcefully tries again. They begin pushing and pulling each other when a wedding guest intervenes and tries to pull the bride and groom apart, but the smiling groom pushes her to his left.

The video which has received over 70k likes on Instagram has left many puzzled. A user wrote, “What on earth is happening?” sharing the same sentiment another wrote, “What is this?” 

However, a user explained, "This is a tradition - more like a competition between bride and the groom on who feeds the other person in the fastest way," adding, "But they took it too far".

A user wrote, “She definitely will wear the trousers in this wedding”.

Another wrote, “Where can I get a girl like that? 🤪”
