New Delhi: For people who spent their childhood during the 90’s and early 2000’s, a major part of their nostalgia remains occupied by the famous animated series, Tom and Jerry. The cartoon series was liked and enjoyed by children and adults alike. 

But no one would have back then or till yet thought about various episodes of the cartoon series to depict illustrations for various sections of the Indian Penal Code. 

A Twitter user with username @apurva_shaurya has changed, for many, the way Tom and Jerry was being viewed till now. Taking stills from various episodes of the cartoon show, which most of us would remember, this Twitter user gave a pictorial illustration of various sections of the IPC.

The thread garnered a lot of reaction from netizens with some suggesting that this is how education should be engaging while some said that the thread was relatable for lawyers. 

 

 

 

Tom and Jerry was a series of comedy animated short films that was created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The animated series had won seven Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film between 1940 and 1958 during its original run.
