It's So Hot In Bengal That This Man Has Managed To Fry An Egg On His Terrace

The video has amazed the internet users and gone insanely viral by amassing 1.5 million views and several reactions.

Day temperatures have been soaring across the country with most places in East and North India witnessing maximum settle close to 40 degrees. West Bengal too is experiencing similar weather conditions. A social media user did an experiment with the heat and emerged successful.

In the video shared on Facebook, the man from West Bengal is seen frying an egg on his terrace. What's surprising is that he is doing it without the help of a stove or gas. In fact he is using the the heat of the sun to cook the egg.

The video shot with a smartphone camera on a terrace opens with showing the man placing a frying pan on the railing of his terrace around noon. He then cracks an egg and pours it into the pan. After a few minutes the omelette surprisingly gets cooked perfectly just by the sun's extreme heat, without any oil or gas. The man also tastes the omellette, and labels it "awesome, excellent and very good indeed."

The caption of the video shared by a user named 'Puchu Babu reads, "46 ডিগ্রীতে ছাদে ওমলেট 😱🥵 কীভাবে ?" When translated into English, it reads: "Omelette on the roof at 46 degrees. How?"

Since being shared the clip has amassed 1.5 million views and several reactions.

"Bhai next Chicken curry plz," a user jokingly wrote after seeing the video. While another user wrote "Can't even believe this is real."
A heatwave alert has been sounded by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) FOR West Bengal, Bihar and coastal Andhra Pradesh for the next four to five days.
