Pakistan Court Grants Interim Bail To Ex-PM Imran Khan In 3 Cases Of Violence, Murder Till April 13
A Pakistan court on Tuesday granted interim bail to the former Pakistan pm Imran Khan in three cases relating to arson, violence against police, vandalism, and Zille Shah murder.
A Pakistan court on Tuesday granted interim bail to the former Pakistan prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan in three cases relating to arson, violence against police, vandalism, and Zille Shah murder, as reported by ARY News. Based on a police complaint, several PTI leaders and workers were booked for attacking the police personnel during a raid at Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore.
After the court dismissed the PTI chief’s plea requesting exemption from court appearance he was asked to appear before the court by 11 AM, ARY News reported. Due to security reasons, Khan appeared before the duty judge in her chamber. Following his appearance in the court, Khan’s interim bail was extended till April 13 in three cases.
Earlier, the judge asked the PTI chief’s lawyer will his client appear before the court or not and said that relief would be given to those who would appear before the court, ARY News reported. Khan’s lawyer had confirmed that he would appear in the court. Later, the court issued directions to Imran Khan and asked him to appear before the court or else his bail would be cancelled.
