Kim Jong-Un Reappears After Another 3-Week Absence; Presides Meeting Over Growing Nuclear War Deterrence
Earlier this month, Kim Jong Un had reportedly made his first public appearance after 20 straight days of absence.

New Delhi: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reappeared in public after his mysterious three-week long absence that had triggered rumours about his ill-health. He presided over a Central Military Commission meeting and discussed "new policies for further increasing the nuclear war deterrence of the country", agencies reported citing state media.
Several pictures have surfaced from the meeting showing Kim Jong signing document and delivering a speech.

In the meeting, important steps were taken for considerably increasing th firepower strike ability of the artillery pieces of the Korean People’s Army, the report said. It did not elaborate what the "new policies" for nuclear deterrence were.
As per a report in news agency Yonhap, the state media usually report Kim's activity a day after it happens.
Earlier this month, Kim Jong had reportedly made his first public appearance after 20 straight days of absence.
Before that the dictator was last seen in public during the meeting with ruling Workers' Party committee of policymakers on April 11. After that, following his absence at the birth anniversary of his grandfather and the late state founder Kim Il-Sung on April 15, rumour mills started working and reports floated in media that the leader has undergone heart surgery.
Some of the rumours had even declared him to be ‘brain-dead’ .

However, after Kim’s first appearance, many theorists online started scrutinising discrepancies in his facial, hairline, and dental features as compared with previous appearances, raising questions whether it was the real Kim or a body double.
