Kapil Sharma's Cafe Attacked: Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada, Kap's Café, was attacked just days after its inauguration. Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Laddi has taken responsibility for the shooting, reports NDTV.

According to reports, multiple rounds were fired at the café. However, no injuries have been reported so far. The police have begun investigating the matter.

A video of the attack is going viral on social media, clearly showing a person firing at the café in the darkness of night. The individual is seen sitting in a car and firing indiscriminately.

According to independent journalist Sameer Kaushal, at least a dozen bullets were fired at the cafe which is situated in a residential area. He described the neighbourhood as peaceful, bordering Delta and Surrey.

Kap's Cafe Attacked: Harjit Singh's Involvement Under Probe

The Canadian law enforcement sources, according to News18, are probing the involvement of Harjit Singh, alias Laddi, a Germany-based BKI operative considered a high-value extremist by Indian intelligence agencies. He is wanted in India for several terror-related offenses and is alleged to be the mastermind behind the recent attacks on Hindu leaders.

The report further mentions that Sidhu is accused of planning and supplying weapons for the April 13, 2024, assassination of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Prabhakar in Nangal, Rupnagar district, Punjab.

Amid the attack on the cafe of Kapil Sharma, the superstar comedian, is yet to comment on the incident.

According to reports, the authorities are probing if the firing was meant as an act of personal intimidation or part of broader patterns of threats. No arrests have been made in the matter yet.
