SHOCKING! Indian family offloaded from British Airways' flight because of 'crying 3-year-old'

As per reports, the child got frightened by the ‘intimidating’ behaviour of a cabin crew member and started crying.

New Delhi: An Indian family was allegedly subjected to racism and humiliation in a British Airways flight because their three-year-old child was crying uncontrollably. The family was allegedly offloaded in London. As per reports, the incident took place on July 23. The father of the child has written to aviation minister Suresh Prabhu alleging racial behaviour by the airline. According to reports, the child got frightened by the ‘intimidating’ behaviour of a cabin crew member and started crying. The mother of the child had reportedly comforted him before that. In the letter the family wrote that a male crew member scolded the child to go to his seat, after which he started crying. An Indian family also offered him biscuits to console him, but he kept on crying. The mother then placed the child on his seat and fastened the seat-belt as he kept on crying, the Times Of India reported. As the plane started on the runway, the same member came again and shouted at the child using abusive language and threatened that he would be thrown out of the window. The child’s family and the family which offered biscuits to the child were then offloaded. In the letter, the father wrote that the crew members used words like ‘bloody’ about Indians and demanded that strictest action be taken. The airline has said that it has started a full investigation and it does not tolerate any kind of discrimination.
