BIZARRE ! Nurse poisons 20 patients because she did not want them to die during her shift

New Delhi: In a bizarre incident that took place last week in Japan, a nurse allegedly poisoned 20 of her patients just because she did not want them to die in her shift. The nurse Ayumi Kuboki has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of poisoning 20 patients so that they would die in another nurse’s shift. As per the claims of the accused, the patients who she allegedly killed were terminally ill. It is alleged that she poisoned the elderly patients by injecting disinfectant (antiseptic) into their IV drips at former Oguchi Hospital, near Tokyo in 2016. A local newspaper reported that she wanted to avoid going through the trouble of explaining the deaths to their families. In the said hospital, it is the nurse who is expected to break the news of patient's death to the relatives. The matter was brought to light after another nurse observed bubbles inside the IV drip of one of the deceased patients. Further testing proved that the man had a high concentration of an antiseptic solution in his bloodstream.  It was then determined that he died from poisoning. More cases appeared where antiseptic was found in the body of the deceased. Upon checking the police found antiseptic only on the uniform won by Kuboki. Similar puncture marks were found on the IV tube of other victims. Upon being questioned Kuboki confessed poisoning 20 patients but she said that they were terminally ill. Later police found that not all the patients were terminally ill. Kuboki was then arrested last week.
