Republic Day 2024: Uttar Pradesh Tableau Shows Ram Lala Idol, Namo Bharat Train

This year 'Faith and development' was the theme of the UP's tableau. An idol of Ram Lalla was placed on a temple-like base in the front of the tableau. Namo Bharat Train was also showcased.

The state of Uttar Pradesh on Friday showcased a tableau designed on ‘Viksit Bharat: Samriddh Virasat’ theme in the Republic Day parade. This year 'Faith and development' was the theme of the state's tableau. An idol of Ram Lalla was placed on a temple-like base in the front of the tableau.

'Namo Bharat Train', inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in October 2023, was seen on UP's tableau on 75th Republic Day parade on January 26

The tableau featured two sadhus with ‘kalash’ symbol, symbolic of the upcoming Magh Mela in Prayagraj and Mahakumbh in 2025. The high speed rapid rail service was placed after the sadhus. The Brahmos missiles have been placed above the rapid rail showcasing UP’s emergence as the defence production hub in North India.

The tableau portrayed development in the state by featuring the Jewar International Airport, mobile manufacturing factory in Noida highlighting the emergence of UP as a mobile manufacturing hub and the transformation of UP into an expressway state with six operational and seven under-construction expressways.
