New Delhi: It is believed that on Wednesday, July 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to expand the cabinet by inducting 17-22 new faces. Though it is not yet clear who all will get a chance to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet, speculations are rife that Uttar Pradesh will get the maximum place given the fact that assembly elections are due next year in the state.
Former Chief Ministers & Deputy Chief Ministers
Former Chief Minister Narayan Rane who switched from Shiv Sena to BJP in Maharashtra, Former Chief Minister of Assam Sarwanand Sonowal, and Former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi in Bihar are likely to get a place in the new cabinet. Other names which have surfaced for getting significant positions in the cabinet include Pashupati Paras, Naryan Rane, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal. The most shocking name among the probable is of Pashupati Paras from Bihar in is currently locked in tussle with Chirag Paswan over supremacy in LJP.
Know how many ministers from which state can join the Modi cabinet
UP- Three to four ministers can be included in the electoral state of Uttar Pradesh. Anupriya Patel can get a place from Apna Dal.
Bihar- RCP Singh, Santosh Kushwaha or Lalan Singh can get a chance from JDU.
MP- Jyotiraditya Scindia's name from Madhya Pradesh is believed to be confirmed. The name of former BJP president of Madhya Pradesh and Jabalpur MP, Rakesh Singh is also coming up.
Maharashtra- Ranjeet Naik Nimbalkar and Hina Gavit, who switched from Congress to BJP, can be inducted in Modi cabinet.
West Bengal: Shantanu Thakur of Matua community in West Bengal can get a ministerial post.
In addition to these, one minister each from Odisha, Jammu & Kashmir and ladakh is likely to be inducted in the Modi cabinet. Let us tell you that coalition parties can also be part of the Modi cabinet this time. JDU, LJP, and YSR Congress may include many ministers in the cabinet.
