'To Instill Spirit Of Nationalism': Army on 108-Feet National Flag at J&K's Handwara

A video has been shared by the Indian Army on social media that shows the installation of the flag at Langate Park. Netizens are elated to watch the Indian flag soar high in the sky. 

New Delhi: A 108-foot-tall National Flag has been installed at Langate Park in Handwara, J&K, as reported by news agency ANI. According to the Indian Army, the flag was installed by the civil government with the help of HDFC Bank to foster a sense of nationalism among the local population.

A video has been shared by the Indian Army on social media that shows the installation of the flag at Langate Park, and netizens are elated to watch the Indian flag soar high in the sky. 

The video has garnered around 16.9K views and above 1K likes. Also, people have commented "Jai Hind" under the video.

The Jammu and Kashmir authorities unfurled a 108-foot tricolour at the Langat Historical Public Park in a first-of-its-kind endeavour. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole declared that Kashmir is now evolving and openly celebrating freedom while unfurling the Tiranga.

Army officers, DDC Chairman Kupwara Irfan Pandit Puri, Municipal Committee Chairman Handwara Masroor Bande, students, and members of the general public have also taken part in the celebration.
