'Let Us Take A Pledge To Contribute Our Best': Amit Shah, Kiren Rijiju, Congress Extend Wishes On I-Day 2023

Independence Day 2023: Amit Shah, Kiren Rijiju extended their wishes to the people on Independence Day on Tuesday.

Independence Day 2023: Union Minister Amit Shah extended his wishes to the people on Independence Day on Tuesday. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Shah said that this day reminds us of our duties towards building the golden India dreamed of by the immortal sacrificers who sacrificed themselves in the sacrifice of freedom.

"Happy Independence Day to all. I bow down to all the freedom fighters who contributed to the freedom of the country. This day also reminds us of our duties towards building the golden India dreamed of by the immortal sacrificers who sacrificed themselves in the sacrifice of freedom. Come, let us take a pledge to contribute our best in the unity and prosperity of the nation in the golden age of independence, Shah said.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, who hoisted the national flag at his residence, took to X, formerly Twitter, and wished people on the occasion of Independence Day. "Hoisted National Flag at Residence. Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Indian Brothers & Sisters," Rijiju tweeted.

Congress took to X and said, “As we celebrate 76 years of freedom, we look back at our nation’s incredible journey—from the revolt of 1857 through the Independence Movement and ultimately to our freedom in 1947. Let the sacrifice of our martyrs always remind us of how far we have come as a nation. Jai Hind!”

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wished the people on the occassion and vowed to make arrangements for the best education for every child of the country and make arrangements for good treatment for every person.  

"Happy Independence Day to all the countrymen. On this glorious occasion, let us all countrymen take a pledge that together we will make arrangements for the best education for every child of the country, make arrangements for good treatment for every person, together we will take the country forward and make India a developed nation. Will make Jai Hind," Kejriwal said.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "Greetings. Let us contribute towards building a strong and prosperous India under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi..."
