Delhi: 10-year-old ruthlessly raped, dumped on footpath with blood smeared all over in Mayur Vihar

The incident came to light at 10am Smrati Van, when police officials received a call that a girl in an unconscious state, smeared in blood has been found lying on footpath. The caller also told that the girl has wound marks on her body.

New Delhi: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar, where a 10-year-old resident of Ghazipur area was brutally raped by a 25-year-old on Thursday. The matter which falls under the jurisdiction of New Ashok Nagar police station, The incident came to light at 10am Smrati Van, when police officials received a call that a girl in an unconscious state, smeared in blood has been found lying on footpath. The caller also told that the girl has wound marks on her body. The girl was rushed to a nearby Lal Bahadur hospital, where it was found out that the girl was raped and the accused has tried to kill the girl thereafter. The girl had deep wounds on her eyes and her face. The victim was later referred to AIIMS by the East Delhi hospital, where her condition remains to be critical. The cops are probing all the CCTV footages of liquor shops around Ashok Nagar police station. The matter is yet to be resolved as cops have not been able to nab the accused.
