According to reports by Gulte, Police responded quickly and shifted those hurt to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred while Yash was addressing the crowd. On noticing what had happened, the actor paused his speech and shouted, "carefully".
He then asked those in the affected area, "Is it okay there? Please students be careful."
