Cruise Case Witness Kiran Gosavi's Police Custody Extended By One Day In 2018 Cheating Case

With the new development, Kiran Gosavi will remain in the Pune police custody till November 9, 2021.

New Delhi: The Pune Court on Monday extended the police custody of Kiran Gosavi, an accused in a cheating case and NCB's independent witness in the Mumbai drugs cruise case, by one day, ANI reported.

With the new development, Kiran Gosavi will remain in the Pune police custody till November 9, 2021.

The investigating officer informed the Pune Court that they were able to recover a total of Rs 1 lakh cash from the possession of Kiran Gosavi regarding the cheating case. Rs 2 lakh are still to be recovered from his possession, investigating officer adds.

"The accused is not cooperating in the investigation. There are details that need to be retrieved from his social media accounts but he is not sharing the login credentials with the police. Hence the police demanded 3 days police custody extension of Kiran Gosavi however the court has granted an extension of one-day police custody," the investigating officer was quoted by ANI in its report.

Earlier, regarding the cheating case, accused Gosavi was sent for Pune police custody till November 8, 2021.

Kiran Gosavi, NCB's independent witness in Mumbai drugs cruise case in which Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested, on October 28, 2021, was arrested by Pune city police in connection with the cheating case worth Rs 18 lakh in the year 2018.
