BIHAR SHOCKER: Class ninth girl abducted, gangraped in Chhapra; video circulated on social media

After abducting her, men took her to a farm in the village where they took turns to rape her and also recorded a video and made it viral.

New Delhi: In a horrific incident in Bihar, a minor girl was abducted and gangraped in Chhapra and after this the culprits made a video of the girl and circulated it on the social media. The incident that shocked the entire state, took place in Maker station area in Chhapra. The victim is a student of class ninth. As per the locals, the girl was returning to her home after visiting a festive fair when some men abducted her from the way by threatening her with some weapon. After abducting her, men took her to a farm in the village where they took turns to rape her and also recorded a video and made it viral. A medical test has been conducted of the victim. Police has made two arrests in connection with the crime and simultaneously a search for other perpetrators is on. Bihar is grappling with an increasing number of crimes of late, most of which are against women. Before this, several instances of rape and sexual harassment against women in Bihar have been highlighted in the national media.
