Army camp attack in Kupwara: Jaitley salutes bravehearts for supreme sacrifice

New Delhi: On Thursday, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley joined the nation in mourning the death of three Indian Army soldiers, who were killed in a terrorist attack on an Army camp in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. "My thoughts and prayers are with families of 3 martyred soldiers.Prayers for speedy recovery of injured," he said reported ANI. On Thursday, a terrorist attack took place on Chowkibal army camp in Kupwara's Panzgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The camp is used to keep artillery. "Fidayeen terrorists attacked the Panzgam army camp close to the Line of Control (LoC) around 4.30 a.m." Defence Ministry Spokesman, Colonel Rajesh Kalia told IANS. "The three soldiers killed, included a captain and a non-commissioned officer (NGO)," the spokesman added. On Thursday, a terrorist attack took place on an army camp in Kupwara's Panzgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Nine jawans are injured and among those martyred are one Major, JCO and a jawan. Three terrorists attacked the camp around 4 am, two killed by army and one is absconding, said sources. The deceased officer has been identified as Capt Ayush but the names of the two soldiers were not immediately known, official sources said, reported PTI.
