After the tech giant Apple had finally launched iPhone 12 variants during its mega annual virtual event called 'Hi, Speed' on October 13, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are now available on sale in India. From as many as four variants of iPhone 12 ranging in size from 5.4-inches to 6.7-inches with 5G support to a better and smarter version of HomePod Mini speakers, Apple once again impressed its users, fans and critiques with its power package of features in the new products launched at the event. However, the company has started taking pre-orders for both models in the Indian market. The iPhone 12 will be available at Rs. 79,900, while the iPhone 12 Pro can be purchased at a starting price of Rs. 1,19,900. The tech giant had also announced the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max but both will debut next month. What is the cost of iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro in India? Both the phones are available at a little higher in India as compared to prices in other regions and the launch offers could not make the deal any attractive. The iPhone 12 with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 79,900 while the 128GB variant costs Rs 84,900. Similarly, the 256GB iPhone 12 costs Rs 94,900. As for the iPhone 12 Pro, the smartphone now starts with 128GB base storage, and is priced at Rs 1,19,900 while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 1,29,900 and the 512GB variant will retail at Rs 1,49,900. What are the launch offers and discounts on iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro? You are likely to buy the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro from the Apple Store slightly cheaper. The company is offering around Rs 22,000 off upon returning your old smartphone. The exact discount can be checked on the website after entering the details. For instance, HDFC credit card users can get a discount of Rs 6,000 while debit card users can avail a Rs 1,500 cashback. There’s also no-cost EMI for 16 months. The monthly EMI for iPhone 12 starts from Rs 8,227 per month, while the iPhone 12 Pro can be purchased with minimum EMI of Rs 14,111. It is to be note that on the online platform including Flipkart and Amazon, the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are seen as coming soon. The product page for iPhone 12 on Amazon states the phone will be in stock from November 3, while the iPhone 12 Pro is “coming soon”. Both the online portals have launch offers. Flipkart is offering a 5 per  cent discount on Axis Bank Buzz credit cards, while on Amazon, ICICI Bank cardholders will get a 5 per cent discount. What are iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro specifications? Both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro come with dual-SIM (Nano + e-SIM) support and run on iOS 14 out-of-the-box. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro also feature a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display that has a Ceramic Shield glass protection on top. Under the hood, the phones come with an A14 Bionic SoC that is paired with a 16-core Neural Engine. The iPhone 12 models also come with 5G connectivity out-of-the-box, though Indian carriers are yet to switch to the next-generation mobile network.
