Tech giant Apple Inc has developed in-house face masks for their corporate and retail employees in an attempt to protect its staff from the Coronavirus, or COVID-19 pandemic which has continued to haunt the world for months now. According to the reports, Face Mask was developed by the Engineering and Industrial Design teams, the same groups that work on devices such as the iPhone and iPad. Created in-house by the Cupertino, there are two different masks developed by the California-technology giant for its staff: the Apple Face Mask and the Transparent Apple Clear Mask. All About Apple Transparent Clear Mask Apple's Transparent Clear Mask is the first FDA-cleared surgical mask that is visible through. It shows the full face of the wearer including the mouth, which usually remains covered behind the other daily-wear face masks. The Apple clear mask has been designed to additionally help those with hearing or vision disabilities to be able to clearly see and better hear the other person in an effort to understand them better. According to a Bloomberg report, the Gallaudet University in Washington which specializes in educating deaf and hard-of-hearing students helped Apple in this venture. Can We Buy It Soon?  Going by the reports, the special Apple face mask is being produced in enough quantities. It is worth mentioning that the masks are being produced for all Apple employees, including corporate and retail. It is yet to be confirmed if the tech giant intends to produce these in larger numbers for sale to consumers. Ever since the outbreak of the deadly COVID-19 virus, Apple has till now provided cloth masks to employees and surgical masks to customers visiting their retail stores. Other Specially Designed Face Covers By Apple As mentioned earlier, Apple till now distributed he usual cloth mask to employees and a surgical masks to customers visiting their retail stores. While producing the special transparent face masks, the firm has also launched a Apple Face Mask made up of three layers to filter incoming and outgoing particles. As per the reports, the newly designed mask looks unique with large coverings on the top and bottom for the wearer’s nose and chin, and can be washed and reused as many as five times. It also has adjustable strings to fit around a person’s ears. The company, which confirmed the news, said it conducted careful research and testing to find the right materials to filter the air properly while not disrupting the supply of medical personal protective equipment.
