Health Minister Mandaviya To Review Covid Situation Amid Spurt In Cases In US, China
In light of a new spike in cases in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, China, and the United States, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will examine the COVID-19 situation on Wednesday, official sources said, reported news agency PTI. They stated that the minister will examine the COVID-19 situation "considering the international scenario" at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The meeting will be attended by a number of senior officials, including Ayush, the department of health, the department of pharmaceuticals, and the department of biotechnology. Rajiv Bahl, director general of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Member (Health) of NITI Aayog V K Paul, and N L Arora, chairman of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) will also take part.
Bharat Jodo Yatra To Enter Haryana
Senior party leaders have begun arriving in the district, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Haryana on Wednesday from the Mundaka border in Nuh, reported news agency PTI.
When the yatra enters the state, it is anticipated that former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, senior Congress leaders Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kumari Selja, Ajay Singh Yadav, and Deepender Singh Hooda, as well as state party chief Udai Bhan and newly appointed state incharge Shaktisinh Gohil, will be present.
As part of the party's foot march, Gohil and senior leaders of the state unit have been holding meetings of various committees.
On December 23, Haryana's first phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra will come to an end.
The Congress has published a schedule that states that the yatra will begin its 105th day on Wednesday at the Mundaka border in Nuh's Firozpur Jhirka. It will then travel through Anaj Mandi, Nasirbas, and Bhadas Nagina before spending the night in Akeda.
The yatra will begin at Malab village on Thursday morning and travel through Nuh's Ghasera village before taking a break at Ambedkar Chowk in Sohna, Gurugram district, in the evening.
