At Hazrat Qamar Ali Darvesh shrine there is this one special rock that weighs 70 kg and can only be lifted by 11 people by touching it with their forefingers, and loudly call out the name of the saint who placed a curse on it.

The temple is home to over 20,000 rats. These rats are considered to be highly auspicious, are worshipped, and safeguarded The rats are believed to be the reincarnated relatives and family members of Karni Mata.

No house, school or any other building in this village has a door since there have been no acts of thievery in this village. The villagers worship Lord Shani and believe that the near zero crime rate in the village to be because of him.

One can drive up here with the ignition of their vehicles turned off. Almost as if getting pulled by some supernatural force. Scientists say this is an optical illusion resulting from the hill’s gravitational pull.

The mystery of Kodinhi lies in its strikingly high rate of twin births. According to some estimates, the village has more than 200 pairs of twins. Some researchers speculate that the consumption of locally grown yams may be a contributing factor.

Numerous reports alleged E.T. encounters are in the disputed Indian Chinese region. Witnesses have seen unidentified flying objects in the region, making people wonder if this is an alien site.
