Miss World Pageant 2024: India is all set to host the prestigious Miss World pageant this year after a span of three decades, the last one being in the year 1996. Scheduled to take place from February 18 to March 9, the event will unfold in various venues, including the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Miss World 2024 will see 120 contestants from countries across the globe as they participate in various competitions and charitable initiatives. For the 71st Miss World Pageant, India will be represented by Femina Miss India World 2022 winner Sini Shetty.
Venues For Miss World 2024:
This year's Miss World will take place in some exceptional locations, such as the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai and the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi to name a few.
In addition, the opening ceremony, meticulously organised by the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), will be held at the Ashok hotel, New Delhi on February 20. The gala event, titled 'India Welcomes the World Gala,' will unfold at this esteemed venue, with the live broadcast accessible globally via the official Miss World website.
After the opening extravaganza, Bharat Mandapam will play host to the 'Beauty With A Purpose' Challenge on February 21.
The pinnacle of excitement will be reached during the much-awaited 71st Miss World Global Finale, scheduled to unfold on March 9 at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
