Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah questioned whether the BJP had referred any cases to the CBI during their time in power.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah strongly condemned the murder of Neha Hiremath and stated that the case has been handed over to the CID. Stating that he has initiated measures for a fast-track court case, Siddaramaiah said that he personally communicated with Neha's father regarding the actions taken. Responding to BJP's demand to transfer the case to the CBI, Siddaramaiah questioned their moral authority and whether they transferred cases to the CBI during their tenure.
On April 18, Neha Hiremath, daughter of Congress councillor of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, was murdered by her previous classmate Fayaz on her college premises.
