Srijan Scam: Bihar Govt imposes Sec 144 in Bhagalpur's Sabour ahead of Tejashwi Yadav's meet

The members of BGO Srijan Mahila Sahyog Samiti conspired with bankers and treasury officials and used to divert Government funds into its account by writing its account number at the back of the cheque, issued by district treasuries to Government.

To keep the mask intact, NGO developed a system to generate doctored e-statement.

The scam involved transfer of Government funds to the account of an NGO in Bihar's Bhagalpur.

NGO also fudged bank passports and escaped Govt. audit between 2007 and 2014.
