Ram Rahim verdict : Quantum of punishment to be pronounced inside Rohtak jail at 2:30 pm today

The sentence was passed by Jagdeep Singh, a special CBI judge, in a makeshift court in the Sunaria jail where Ram Rahim, 50, had been lodged since his conviction on Friday.

The court sentenced Ram Rahim to imprisonment of 10 years each in two rape cases, and imposed a fine of Rs 15 lakh in each case. The sentences will run consecutively, resulting in imprisonment of 20 years and fine of Rs 30 lakh.
