Rajasthan's most wanted criminals arrested

New Delhi [India], November 28 (ANI): The Delhi Crime Branch on Tuesday arrested three most wanted members of dreaded 'Rajesh Kodiya gang' of Rajasthan from Delhi's Dwarka area on Tuesday.

During search operation, the crime branch also recovered two country-made pistols, six live cartridges and a verna car which was stolen from Gujarat.

The accused have been identified as, Rajesh Kumar Meena, 32, Raj Kumar Meena, 26, Dhara Singh, 24. All hail from Rajasthan.

According to police, "these three were wanted in a case of murder where they had shot a gangster of rival 'Anandpal gang' of Rajasthan. They were also accused in a case of forgery and cheating".

"Gang leader Rajesh Kodiya and Raj Kumar are real brothers and belong to a wealthy family. Rajesh is a known history-sheeter and previously has been involved in seven cases of murder, threaten, rape and many more. While Raj Kumar is the youngest Sarpanch in Rajasthan," police said.

Rajasthan Police had been hunting all three accused for more than two months across the nation. (ANI)
