India to host yoga sessions at Davos summit

New Delhi [India], Jan 19 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Friday that India will host yoga sessions at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Summit in Davos.

"To showcase India's soft power at the global stage, yoga sessions would be held in the sidelines of the summit", Ramesh Abhishek, the secretary of Industrial Policy and Promotion (IPP), said.

"We are taking the best yoga teachers there. Yoga sessions would be held at the summit and at the Swiss Alps. Our message is that an individual needs to lead a healthy and strong life", he added.
