Imphal Police nabs three drug paddlers

Imphal (Manipur) [India], Aug 9 (ANI): In continuous drive against drugs, the Imphal East district police nabbed consignments of drugs worth altogether over nine lakh in two separate raids today.

In the first incident, after getting specific information, a team of Imphal East police and a combined to district commandoes rushed to Nambol Kabowakching Village, and Leimaram Woroiching under Nambol Police Station, Bishnupur District and raided one house in presence of a Magistrate.

They arrested one Takhellambam Shashikanta Singh and followed by another Ningthoujam Anganmgtomba Singh.

From their possession, one polythene bag containing 25 grams of white powder suspected to be Heroin powder worth Rs. 3 lakh and two numbers of mobile phones were recovered and from the later 25 grams of suspected Heroin powder along one mobile was seized.

Smilarly, sleuths arrested Sangomshungbam Mujibur Rahaman and seized around 20,890 of Spasmo Proxivon ( S.P.) Tablets in fourteen polythene bags containing 1400 S.P. tablets each and one polythene bag containing 1,290 S.P. Tablets worth Rs. 5, 22,250 in the international market. (ANI)
