New Delhi: The Ganesh Chaturthi festival is being celebrated these days in the entire country. A ten-day festival, it started this year on 25th August and will end on 5th September. Also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, the festival is marked with the installation of Lord Ganesha clay idols privately in homes or publicly on elaborate pandals. The festival ends on the tenth day when the idol is immersed in the nearby water body and it is believed that Lord Ganesha return to Mount Kailash to Parvati and Shiva.
