Funds increased for Bihar MLAs

Bihar [India] July 26 (ANI): Yearly funds for Bihar lawmakers have been increased from existing Rs 2 crore to Rs 3 crore.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made the announcement earlier today.

The decision has been taken under the Chief Minister Area Development Scheme

The lawmakers had recently demanded an increase in the funds.

On a related note, the yearly funds for lawmakers was Rs one crore untill 2012, it was doubled in 2013.(ANI)
