Sony has recently announced the arrival of PlayStation 5 Slim in the Indian markets. The latest version of the PS5 console is now available across the country. In order to make it easy for gamers, Sony has teamed up with Zomato's quick commerce platform Blinkit to deliver the said consoles to the doorsteps of customers in just 10 minutes. 

Just like you order any other thing from Blinkit, you can now order PS5 Slim through it by just following the usual process that you always do.

Blinkit’s CEO Albinder Dhindsa took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that customers will be able to order both variants of the PS5 Slim consoles through its app. Once the customer places an order, Blinkit (as its tagline suggests) will most likely deliver it to its customer’s doorstep within 10 minutes.

PS5 Slim: Price, Other Details

PS5 Slim models will come in two variations: the Digital Edition priced at Rs 44,990 and the Disc Version priced at Rs 54,990. These redesigned consoles not only feature increased storage and a more compact design but also boast similar hardware to the standard models. Sony has managed to reduce the overall size of the new consoles by up to 30 per cent and their weight by up to 24 per cent compared to the existing models.

The new console's modular design allows for easy upgrades, and Sony will offer the option to add a disc drive as an accessory to the digital edition of the PS5 Slim. Both variants of the PS5 Slim will offer 1TB of internal storage, a significant upgrade from the current 825GB capacity. These consoles will support internal storage expansion via external SSDs and will feature four separate cover panels instead of the current model's two.

The new cover panels will feature a glossy finish on the top and a matte design at the bottom. Additionally, the PS5 Slim models will include two slits on each side and will feature dual USB-C ports at the front for connectivity, replacing the single USB-C and USB-A ports found on the current PS5 models.
