Indus Closed Beta Release Window Teased, New Trailer Out Now
SuperGaming has premiered a captivating cinematic trailer that provides a glimpse into gameplay possibilities, overall mood, and even an Akira bike slide.
SuperGaming has unveiled its latest endeavour to introduce the world to its upcoming Indo-Futuristic battle royale experience — Indus — through the announcement of a Closed Beta. This highly anticipated step in the game's development journey is scheduled to occur during the festive season of 2023. The Indus Battle Royale Closed Beta will showcase the battle royale mode, incorporating refined features derived from previous Indus Community Playtests. Access to this phase of the game will be granted through a limited supply of Indus Closed Beta Keys.
The Pune-based developer has been teasing the various landmarks around Indus on India's national holidays. Last year, for example, Indus dropped its first trailer on August 15. This time around, SuperGaming has premiered a captivating cinematic trailer that provides a glimpse into more gameplay details, characters, elements, and overall tone of the game — complete with a homage to the Akira bike slide (check out video below to find out).
Notably, the trailer features the voice contributions of notable figures from various domains. Olympic pistol shooter Heena Sidhu, renowned gaming content creator Techno Gamerz (Ujjwal Chaurasia), as well as popular content creators GamerFleet (Anshu Bisht) and Magsplay (Mansi Gupta) have lent their voices to characters within the trailer.
CEO and co-founder of SuperGaming, Roby John, elaborated on the significance of this endeavour, "The Indus Closed Beta trailer aims to showcase the vibrancy of the Indian Gaming Industry by incorporating real-life aspirational icons from diverse fields. With over five million pre-registrations and unwavering community support, we firmly believe that Indus stands as a trailblazer in propelling India's gaming revolution."
The trailer debuted during SuperGaming’s Creator Playtest event on August 11 in Pune, and was subsequently premiered online on the official Indus YouTube channel. The trailer skillfully introduces players to the essence of the game, enticing them to explore, amass resources, and emerge victorious on the island map of Virlok. It provides a sneak peek into Indus' arsenal of weapons, avatars, and traversal options, all while capturing the essence of firefights and the vastness of the battle royale experience that SuperGaming aspires to deliver.
As a part of the strategy to grant exclusive access, players interested in participating in the Indus Battle Royale Closed Beta can pre-register for the game on Google Play. To stay updated on upcoming key drops, players are encouraged to join the Indus Discord server, as the keys will be offered in limited quantities.
