BGMI Gets Latest Update: Face The 'Living Dead' In Version 2.8 — Check Details
Waiting for the Halloween? BGMI has got you covered for the festival with its latest update where you will be fighting against hordes of Zombies.
After the success of Version 2.7 Update, Battlegrounds Mobile India or popularly known as BGMI has recently launched a new update i.e., Version 2.8 in which your game will be flooded with the 'Living Dead'. In the run-up to Halloween, BGMI has announced that Zombies will be infecting the battlegrounds, with new enemies, challenges, abilities, and items to explore. This new update will also feature a new Metro Royale Season and Cycle 5 Season 14 will also be available.
In the latest update, maps like Erangel, Miramar, and Livik will witness an onslaught of infected Mutants until November 26th. Similar to the Dragon Ball Super Update, this update will also offer a few spots which will grant you a respawn card if you venture into them. The said spots are known as Aerolith Lab where you'll encounter hordes of Zombies.
Your prime goal in the Aerolith Lab region will be to stop it from absorbing too many Mutants, otherwise, it will summon the Rage Berserker which will make things more difficult for you. Once you defeat this boss, you'll get a special crate as a reward.
There will be three variations of Zombies that you will encounter in the Version 2.8 Update. In addition to the Mutant, the tall and intimidating Berserker wielding weapons and shields in its right arm will be the second variation and the third will be the agile Ripper who can leap and dash quickly to attack and it can also evade blows.
Similar to the previous updates, you will also get some special features in this update such as the 'Smash' ability. Apart from this, you can hop on the Maglev Hoverboard, which can be acquired from the Lab. You will be able to travel on both land and sea efficiently if you acquire the Maglev Hoverboard.
BGMI has also announced that there will be a surprise coming in October to celebrate Halloween.
Additionally, Cycle 5 Season 14 is updated with new content, rewards, and cosmetics to unlock and enjoy. You can also look forward to a world-renowned performance car brand.
