'Mirzapur' Actor Brahma Mishra Passes Away. Co-Star Divyenndu Mourns His Death

Divyenndu expressed grief over the demise of his 'Mirzapur' co-star Brahma Mishra.

New Delhi: Brahma Mishra, who played the role of Lalit in Amazon Prime Video’s hit web series ‘Mirzapur’, is no more. Bollywood actor Divyenndu took to social media to share the heartbreaking news with his followers. He expressed his grief over the untimely demise of his co-star and requested the fans to pray for his soul. 

What Did Divyenndu Post?

Divyenndu, fondly known for his role of Munna Bhaiya in ‘Mirzapur’, wrote, “RIP Brahma Mishra. Our Lalit is no more. Let’s pray for him everyone.” the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' star posted a photo wherein he and Mishra can be seen smiling while posing for the camera.

Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar and other actors, who worked in 'Mirzapur', dropped comments on the post and offered their condolence. Shriya, who was seen as Sweety, commented, "Heartbreaking."

Excel Movies, which produced 'Mirzapur', shared a post on their official Instagram handle to condole Mishra's demise. "We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #BramhswaroopMishra. Our condolences are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace," the caption for the post read.

Brahma Mishra Found Dead In Mumbai House

According to a report in Mid-Day, the Mumbai Police found Mishra's semi-decomposed body from his house in Versova. His body was sent to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital for autopsy, the report in the leading daily said.

The talented artist played supporting roles in several films like 'Kesari', 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Hawaizaada', 'Danga'. Brahma Mishra was fondly known for his role of Munna Bhaiya's right-hand man in 'Mirzapur'.
