Woah! Hrithik Roshan To Play Lead In Adaptation Of 'The Night Manager', Details Inside!
Hrithik Roshan will make his digital debut with the Indian version of 'The Night Manager'.
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is all set to make his digital debut with the Indian adaptation of British drama ‘The Night Manager. After Saif Ali Khan, Sushmita Sen and Abhishek Bachchan, the ‘Krrish’ actor will be seen in a project on a leading OTT platform. Yes, you read that right!
According to a report in Variety, the shoot for the upcoming series will commence in Mumbai from April 2021. The cast and crew will shoot in international locations after restrictions are lifted and travel becomes easier, the report added. The Indian version of ‘The Night Manager’ is likely to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.
Hrithik Roshan will be seen essaying the role of Jonathan Pine, which was originally played by Tom Hiddleston. Considering his acting prowess, we believe he will fit the bill.
The series is based on John Le Carre’s novel of the same name. It also featured Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander, Elizabeth Debicki and David Harewood in key roles.
‘The Night Manager’ has won laurels at Primetime Emmys, BAFTA and Golden Globes. Hiddleston bagged the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film in 2017 for his power-packed performance.
Talking about Hrithik, the ‘Super 30’ actor announced his new film titled ‘Fighter’ on his 47th birthday. He will be seen sharing screen-space with Deepika Padukone for the first time. The film, which is being produced by Siddharth Anand’s production, will hit the silver screens on September 30, 2022.
Hrithik’s fans will get to see their favourite actor on the big screens after three years as it his list film ‘War’ released in 2019. The movie co-starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor had set the cash registers jingling.
Gossip mills also suggest that Hrithik and Deepika will team up again for a new project based on Ramayana. The makers of the film are yet to make any official announcement about the same.
