Vijay Sethupathi To Play Villain In Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’

There has been a lot of buzz around Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee’s upcoming project ‘Jawan’ ever since the poster of the film was released. Now the fans have all the more reason to rejoice as South superstar Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in to play a villain in the film.
Vijay Sethupathi has reportedly agreed to do the film and is all set to join the sets of the film in Mumbai soon. There has been no official confirmation on this yet. Earlier, there were reports that the makers were keen on casting Rana Daggubati as the antagonist but the actor was busy and didn’t have dates.
Shah Rukh Khan will share the screen with Nayanthara in the film. His rugged look from the first look poster increased the excitement for the film among his fans. The poster showed SRK wrapped in gauge tapes while sitting on a bench.
‘Jawan’ will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada and is scheduled to hit the screens in June 2023.

Meanwhile, an old video of Shah Rukh Khan praising Vijay Sethupathi is going viral on social media. In the video, SRK is seen praising Vijay and calling him the most wonderful actor Shah Rukh has ever seen in his life.
Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Pathan', co-starring Deepika Padukone, will also release in 2023. The actor has also collaborated with Rajkumar Hirani for the film Dunki opposite Taapsee Pannu.
