Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Helly Shah Confirms Playing Female Lead In Colors Show

TV actress Helly Shah, who was last seen in Shaheer Sheikh & Rhea Sharma in lead roles, is set to come back on small-screen with the second season of Arjun Bijlani's 'Ishq Mein Marjawan'.

New Delhi: Colors TV's popular show 'Ishq Mein Marjawan', featuring Arjun Bijlani, Aalisha Panwar and Nia Sharma in lead roles, ended last year in June after a run of around two years. The show was loved for its nail-biting twists as well as amazing performances. But, 'Ishq Mein Marjawan' makers recently announced its second season which will also be a suspense thriller featuring two male leads and one female lead. As reported earlier, 'Ishq Mein Marjawan 2' makers have roped in Vishal Vashishtha and Rrahul Sudhir to play male leads whereas the makers have finalised a talented actress for female lead's role and she's none other than Helly Shah.

The talented actress, who was last seen in a special appearance in Shaheer Sheikh-Rhea Sharma's 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' has confirmed the same and is super-excited for the show. On being asked if she's feeling any pressure as first season of 'Ishq Mein Marjawan' was a hit show, she told a leading daily that, "Not at all. In fact, I am quite excited, as I always wanted to do a thriller show, and I am getting to do one with this. I will try my best to do justice to my character."

Helly Shah, who has played double role in Star Bharat's 'Sufiyana Ishq Mera' opposite Rajveer Singh, suffered from health issues due to her super-hectic schedule. However, she is not playing double role in 'Ishq Mein Marjawan 2'. Speaking about the same, Helly further told TOI that, "I don’t mind playing a double role again, but there is no such track in 'Ishq Mein Marjawaan' as of now. I got three months to focus on my health, which I couldn’t during the shoot of my previous show. I also travelled to Rajasthan and spent time in my hometown, Ahmedabad."

On the professional front, Helly Shah made her TV debut with 'Zindagi Ka Har Rang...Gulaal' and was later seen in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9', 'Devanshi' among others shows.
