Fire Breaks Out On Sets Of Sriti Jha & Shabir Ahluwalia's 'Kumkum Bhagya'

The shooting for 'Kumkum Bhagya' will be resumed from tomorrow, the show's actress Rehyna Malhotra said.

New Delhi: A fire broke out on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s popular show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on Saturday (July 18). According to a report in an entertainment portal, the shoot was going on when the fire breakout took place. The cast and crew have been taken to a safe place. No casualties have been reported so far. “The reason for fire seems to be a short circuit. But there is no clarity at the moment,” a source told IWMBuzz. CONFIRMED: 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' Actress To REPLACE Naina Singh In Kumkum Bhagya' 'Kumkum Bhagya', which is one of the most popular shows on Indian television, is shot at Killick Nixon Studio, Mumbai. The studio was shut down for three days after 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' actor Parth Samthaan tested positive for COVID-19. The shooting for 'Kumkum Bhagya', 'Kasautii 2' and 'Pavitra Bandhan' was put on halt after the Corona scare. Rehyna, who has replaced Shikha Singh as Aaliya, said that the production team took charge immediately to control the fire. The 'Ishqbaaaz' actress told a portal the shooting will resumed from tomorrow (July 19). "Everybody was a little scared but the situation was brought under control. The production people on sets took charge immediately and upar chad gaye in an attempt to extinguish the fire. The studio is well equipped with a fire extinguisher so everybody was on the job till the fire brigade came to take charge in controlling the fire. But thankfully we were well equipped or else the fire would have spread further and become worse by the time the Fire Brigade came," Rehyna told Pinkvilla.
