Pawan Kalyan Makes Rare Public Appearance With Sons Amid Busy Political & Film Calendar

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan was seen with sons Akira Nandan and Mark Shankar in Mangalgiri. Meanwhile, updates on his films Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh are making waves.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan was recently spotted with his sons Akira Nandan and Mark Shankar at his residence in Mangalgiri, Andhra Pradesh. Now the state’s Deputy Chief Minister, Kalyan was in the middle of high-level discussions with party leaders and officials when he was joined by his children in a rare public appearance that quickly caught public attention.

Akira, his eldest son from former wife Renu Desai, and Mark, his youngest son with current spouse Anna Lezhneva, were both seen alongside their father. Kalyan also has two daughters from his previous relationships. The family moment was particularly significant as it came shortly after Mark reportedly sustained injuries in a fire-related incident at his school in Singapore.

New Political Role Balanced With Mega Film Projects

While stepping into his key role in Andhra Pradesh’s new government, Pawan Kalyan hasn’t slowed down on the entertainment front. He’s gearing up for the much-anticipated release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a swashbuckling period action film where he plays the titular outlaw tasked with stealing the legendary Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals.

The film, helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna, has faced multiple delays but is now scheduled for release on July 24, 2025. It marks the beginning of a potential franchise and is expected to blend historical fiction with mainstream masala.

Upcoming Roles in OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh

Following 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', the actor will headline They Call Him OG, a gangster drama directed by Sujeeth. The film casts Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a feared criminal who vanishes mysteriously only to return a decade later with vengeance in his eyes. The movie also stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, with a stellar support cast including Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Sriya Reddy.

Adding to his cinematic slate, Kalyan is also working on 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster 'Theri'. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film pairs him with actress Sreeleela in a story filled with action and emotional drama.

As Pawan Kalyan balances his dual lives of governance and glamour, fans are eagerly watching both his policy decisions and box office moves.
