Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi's film is reportedly titled 'Fauji.' Initially, there were rumours that Mrunal Thakur, known for her role in 'Sita Ramam,' would be the female lead. However, recent speculations suggest that Pakistani actress Sajal Ali might be cast as another heroine. This news has been circulating among fans and on social media, though it remains unconfirmed.

Hanu Raghavapudi shares details

Director Hanu Raghavapudi has revealed that the film will be a period action drama set in historical fiction. The story is said to be a unique love story set against the backdrop of war, taking place before India's Independence. There are also rumours that Prabhas will portray a British soldier in the film. To match the film's theme, the makers are considering casting a pan-Asian actress, and Sajal Ali is reportedly being approached for this role.

The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, will have a substantial budget. Pre-production is progressing rapidly, with Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the music. Three songs have already been recorded, and large sets are being constructed around Hyderabad. The project is expected to commence filming in September.
