Rana Naidu Season 2 teaser: Netflix has officially teased the highly anticipated second season of 'Rana Naidu', the crime drama starring Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh. The first season, which premiered in March 2023, marked the real-life uncle-nephew duo’s on-screen collaboration for the first time and received widespread attention.
An adaptation of the American series 'Ray Donovan', Rana Naidu follows the life of the titular character, played by Daggubati, a fixer for Bollywood’s elite who handles their most pressing problems. His biggest challenge, however, is his complicated and strained relationship with his estranged father, Naga, portrayed by Venkatesh.
At Netflix’s 2025 slate announcement event, Daggubati hinted at an intense and unpredictable season ahead. "The first season was a walk in the park compared to what’s coming next. This chapter is going to be messy and bloodier," he was quoted as saying by PTI.

About Rana Naidu Season 2
Season two follows Rana Naidu as he attempts to complete one final job to secure his family's future before leaving his dangerous profession for good. However, things take an unexpected turn when he finds himself entangled in conflicts with his loved ones, while an ominous figure from his past resurfaces, threatening to upend everything.
Joining the cast this season are actors Surveen Chawla and Kriti Kharbanda, while show creator Karan Anshuman revealed that the storyline will go beyond the father-son rivalry that defined the first season. He also teased the arrival of a wildcard element in the form of Arjun Rampal, whose role remains under wraps.
Producer Sunder Aaron of Locomotive Global promised an even grander experience this time around. "Season two will surprise everyone with its vision, scale, and story. Our new cast additions are especially exciting, and the collaboration with Netflix has made this journey possible. The Netflix team has been fully dedicated to telling the best story possible. When the show finally drops, I am sure our fans will feel it was worth the wait," he stated.
