New Delhi: The actors roundtable by Netflix featuring Kareena Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sidharth Malhotra, Kajol, Tillotama Shome has created quite a buzz among fans of the actors. In one part of the episode, Kareena Kapoor speaks about a rather important scene in the recently released Sujoy Ghosh's 'Jaane Jaan' on Netflix which is one of the highlights of the film.
Sharing that she has always been a confident actor, in the confrontation scene between Jaideep and Kareena, it has only been once in her 24 years of work that she asked for a retake thanks to Jaideep.
Recalling that moment of confrontation when Jaideep's character tells Maya's character( how she had accidentally saved him from taking his own life) indirectly and thanking her, Kareena recalled that ;after 24 years of working, after my shot... I have never been that kind of actor. I am like, I have done it, it's gone, leave it because I have always been this confident actor."
"And, the shot happened, I froze. I have never seen something like this before. I have worked with every actor in this industry and I told Sujoy 'mera shot phir se lo( take my shot again)," because she felt like she had not done justice to it but the director said that she too was 'fab' and that it was done.
As Kareena praised Jaideep, the actor taking the compliment said ‘I am done and this is it’ almost to stand up and suggest that this could be the biggest compliment he has heard.
Sujoy Ghosh’a ‘Jaane Jaan’ on Netflix starred Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Verma and Kareena Kapoor. The film was released on OTT giant Netflix to a massive critical response.
The thriller has been adapted from the Japanese thriller novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’ which was adapted in a Hindi film format by Sujoy Ghosh.
