Sheeran also performs his global hit ‘Shape of You’ with a lively Bhangra twist. The trailer then shows Sharma asking Sheeran about his meeting with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Sheeran then uses Khan’s dialogue from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge: “Bade bade shehro mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai,” followed by both doing the iconic Shah Rukh pose.

He sings a Punjabi jingle

Sheeran also sings a Punjabi jingle, “Aayo aayo, Lakhanpal nu janmdin aayo, Eating cake and eating barfi, paneer pakoda eating.”

The promo ends on a humorous note, with Kapil joking that Sheeran came specifically to meet him. Sheeran quickly corrects him, “Nahi nahi, mera show hai Mumbai mein,” indicating his ongoing concert tour.
