Bigg Boss OTT 2: Netizens Call Out Jiya Shankar For Mixing Hand Wash In Elvish Yadav's Glass Of Water
Jiya Shankar’s latest antic, where she mixed hand wash in Elvish Yadav's glass of water, has not gone down well with the netizens.
New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' is getting popular with each passing day with more fights, dramas, and challenges. While the audiences have their favourites by now, there are certain things that housemates do that are not appreciated by the majority of the viewers despite the fanbase. Jiya Shankar’s latest antic, where she mixed hand wash in Elvish Yadav's glass of water, has also evoked a similar response among the netizens.
It all started when Elvish was given captaincy where he was instructed to make other contestants follow up his orders till the buzzer rang. As part of the challenge, Elvish asks Jiya to bring water for him. Jiya goes to the kitchen and adds liquid soap to the water, and gives it to Elvish. Jiya is then seen making fun of him in front of Avinash Sachdev. She says, “He is so dumb. The hand wash is floating, and he is drinking from it.” After realising that there is something wrong with the water, Elvish asks Jiya Shankar, "Sach batao, kya dala hai.. piyo isse (Tell me honestly, what have you added. Now, drink this.)" Jiya replies, "Kisi ne theek se dhoya nahi hoga, main jhoota nahi peeti kisika [The glass wasn't rinsed properly. I don't drink from someone else's glass]."

This not only angered Elvish and the other contestants, but even audiences felt the stunt was not funny. With social media going viral with the #ShameOnJiya, netizens criticised her for her prank and also for not accepting her mistake and defending her with vague arguments.
Elvish Yadav and Aashika Bhatia are the two wild-card contestants. Other than them, Abhishek Malhan, Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, Jiya Shankar, Avinash Sachdev, Falaq Naaz, Bebika Dhurve and Jad Hadid are still in the house.
