Bollywood actor John Abraham, who turned a year older on December 17, is currently busy shooting for 'Satyameva Jayate 2' in Varanasi. The shoot for the upcoming film was delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. The cast and crew recently started the Benaras schedule of 'Satyameva Jayate 2'. Things didn't turn out well as John reportedly suffered an injury on the first day of shoot.

John Abraham X-ray Report

According to a report in Times Of India, John hurt his finger while shooting an action scene near Chet Singh Fort. He was taken to a local hospital where he was provided first-aid. Many people lined up outside the hospital to catch a glimpse of the 'Dostana' star after the news of his presence circulated. The 'Dhoom' star, last seen in 'Pagalpanti', was snapped while leaving the Chitipur hospital. A photo of his X-ray report is going viral on social media. John Abraham's team is yet to share any official statement about his injury.

'Satyameva Jayate 2' Release Date

John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar started the shoot for the film on October 21, 2020. The action drama, directed by Milap Zaveri, was originally supposed to be based against the backdrop of Mumbai. The makers decided to re-locate the story to Lucknow after the COVID-19 lockdown was imposed in the country. The film will hit the silver screens on May 12, 2021. John will reprise his role of Virendra Rathod in 'Satyamev Jayate 2', which will focus on his fight against misuse of power and injustice. The film has been making waves ever since the makers announced the project.

John Abraham Upcoming Films

The 48-year-actor has several exciting projects in his kitty including 'Mumbai Saga', 'Attack', to name a few. He is reportedly playing the main antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Pathan'.
