Divya Khosla Kumar BLASTS Sonu Nigam After He Threatens Her Husband Bhushan Kumar, Says 'The War Is On'

Divya Khosla Kumar has strongly reacted to the allegations made against her husband Bhushan Kumar by singer Sonu Nigam.

New Delhi: Singer Sonu Nigam set several tongues wagging after he shared an explosive video in which he accused T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar of being a music mafia. The ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ singer warned Kumar that he would leak a video of Marina Kuwar, who had reportedly accused him of sexual harassment. Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya Khosla Kumar slammed the singer and called him ‘thankless’ in a post on her Instagram story. Divya had now shared an eleven-minute long video on social media along with the caption, “The Bitter Truth #SonuNigam.” Reacting strongly to the allegations, Divya said, "Sonu Nigam is running a campaign against T-Series and Bhushan Kumar. T-Series has given a break to numerous artists including singers, actors, music directors and lyricists, who are not from the industry. I have given a chance to 10 newcomers in my film ‘Yaariyaan’. Out of them, Neha Kakkar, Rakul Preet Singh, Himansh Kohli have become stars now.” Also READ: Model-Actress Marina Kuwar Shares Post On Depression After Sonu Nigam Named Her In His Warning Video For Bhushan Kumar! The actress-filmmaker questioned Sonu and asked him if he has given any chance to the people. “I would like to ask Sonu Nigam if he has promoted any new talent in the industry. Speaking behind the camera is easy but have you ever given a chance to any talent? 97 percent of the employees working in T-Series are not from the industry,” she said. Sonu Nigam, in his video, had alleged that Bhushan Kumar requested him to arrange a meeting with Smita Thackeray and Bal Thackeray. Reacting to the same, Divya said, “Sonu Nigam used to sing in Delhi’s Ramleela for Rs 5. Gulshan Kumar spotted him and gave him a flight ticket to Mumbai.” She called her chef Sheru on camera and asked him to tell the people about Sonu Nigam. He had no loyalty towards T-Series.” Sonu had alleged that Bhushan Kumar asked him to save him from gangster Abu Salem in his video. Divya reacted to the allegations and said, “Why would Bhushan come to Sonu to save himself from Salem? Did Sonu Nigam have relations with Abu Salem? There should be an investigation into this matter.” Divya, who will be next seen in ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ opposite John Abraham, also said that her husband received death threats while people gave her rape threats on social media. She added, “I didn’t wish to make this video. Bhushan ji has specially asked me to stay quit on this issue.” Check out her video!
Divya reacted to the #MeToo allegation against her husband and said that the accusation was fabricated. “We didn’t press charges against the woman, who alleged Bhushan of sexual harassment as we didn’t wish to defame her in the society. What is #MeToo Sonu Ji? Should I also accuse you (Sonu) of #MeToo?” she said. The ‘Sanam Re’ director accused Sonu Nigam of instigating 'out of work' singers and ganging up against T-Series. She ended her video by saying “The war is on.”
